Audience Mood Board

At the top left of this mood board, you can see a picture of Andrew Lloyd Webber.  He is placed on my mood bored as he is an iconic person within the theatre industry and my target audience would probably inspire to be in one of his musicals.  As well as Andrew Lloyd Webber being an idol to my audience, there are also pictures of William Shakespeare and Marilyn Monroe.  I chose these people because they are so well known in theatre and TV and they come from different times and genres of theatre which shows that I want my target audience to be diverse, open minded people that explore different creative beings.  I have food on my mood board however, thought carefully about what my target audience would be interested in, eventually I came to the conclusion that they would want quick food because their students who stereotypically don’t want to cook however, they would want to eat healthy as many of them would want to keep fit to dance and act successfully.  I intend to have the majority of my audience to be female which explains why image would be important to my audience and why there are hair and make-up products on my mood board.  To my audience, theatre, music and dance would be a passion so going to the theatre regularly would be a norm to them which is why there is a picture of the theatre as well as many musicals being on the bored board (Such as; Chicago, Hairspray, Annie,  Wicked and We Will Rock You).  There are two perfume bottles on the screen however, I chose these ones because they are expensive and would only be worn on special occasions because I see my audience as being comfortable with their money and sociable leading to plenty of outings.   My magazine is aimed at people would are interested in the city life and thrive on being around people which is why there is a London bus and a picture of London on my mood bored.   I have reality programmes, such as the XFactor and Strictly Come Dancing, as they are both based on arts and this is why my audience would be interested in.
